A boat only works if everyone aboard can trust the people next to them. So we keep our expectations short, specific, and enforced — not a wall of legalese nobody reads.
These guidelines apply everywhere on Nozu: workspaces, chat, sessions, the marketplace, briefs, and profiles. They exist to protect the people doing the work — especially the women, newcomers and non-profits who make this community what it is. Join, and you're agreeing to them.
Answer questions the way you'd want yours answered. Assume good faith. A crew rises together.
Show real work and real numbers. Don't inflate revenue, fake traction, or pass off others' work as your own.
Name the people you built with. Link the libraries you leaned on. Borrowed taste is fine; unattributed is not.
This is a home for women, newcomers and the underrepresented. Everyone builds without watching their back.
Don't share someone's private messages, DMs, or personal details without their clear say-so.
Critique the work, not the person. Be specific, be useful, and remember there's a human on the other end.
No slurs, threats, sexual harassment, stalking, or demeaning anyone for who they are. Zero tolerance.
No mass DMs, no dropping links everywhere, no engagement farming. Contribute before you promote.
No fake listings, chargeback fraud, or ghosting a paid brief. Deals here are made in good faith.
Don't copy a member's product, brand, or code and pass it off as yours. Fork openly or not at all.
Nothing that builds malware, targets people, or breaks the law. Security work needs clear, legitimate intent.
Never publish private information about anyone, on the platform or off it.
If someone crosses a line, report it from any profile, listing, or message — or email safety@nozu.app. Reports are read by real people, kept confidential, and you'll never be punished for raising one in good faith.
What happens next:
We look into every report. Depending on what we find, we'll give a warning, remove content, pause an account, or — for serious or repeat breaches — remove someone permanently. We act faster and harder on anything that threatens the safety of women or newcomers in the community. We'd always rather help someone do better than push them out, but keeping the room safe comes first.
